Honor has officially launched the Honor 9 Lite in India for only ₹10,999. You can watch the event live stream if you missed it, and we’ll highlight some of the best moments here.
Honor showed off many sample pictures taken on the Honor 9 Lite. With what we saw in the photos, this camera will perform very well. It comes with an HDR mode that gives you more detail in backlit photography. You will also find faster and more accurate focus with phase-detection autofocus. The selfie camera is also looking really promising with an F2.0 wide aperture, and another dual-lens configuration.

With the Honor 9 Lite, we see a mirror-like surface making the phone intensely bright and colorful. Both side of the phone have dual 2.5D glass integration which we usually only see on Honor’s flagship phones.
Honor has embellished this display with “stars and galaxy” by putting over one million micron-scale metallic squama which covers the top and bottom of the screen. This is supposed to give your phone an effect as if it’s glowing with stars, when used in low-light conditions.
The Honor 9 Lite comes in sapphire blue, glacier grey, and midnight black.
