Recreate this Homescreen: “Shaded Circles” Tutorial

We have been seeing a lot of positive feedback from Marco’s homescreen tutorials, so he’s back with another great video. Check out this video on how to get the Shaded Circles setup on your own device. 

Shaded Circles Setup

  1. What you’ll need:

Step 1: Download all apps and resources:

  1. See the links above for everything you need
  2. Download the Kustom files and the wallpaper onto your phone
  3. Install the correct version of Xposed if you’d like to configure your lock screen (use at own risk)

Step 2: Nova Launcher Settings

  1. Long press on the homescreen – Settings
  2. Dock – On, Dock Icons – 6
  3. Look and Feel – Icon Theme – Unpivot icons (or your preferred icon pack)

Step 6: Setting up Kustom Live Wallpaper

  1. Long press on the homescreen – Wallpaper – Live Wallpapers – Kustom
  2. Settings – Menu button (top left) – Load Preset (Pro version only)
  3. Select the open icon at the top and find the file “ShadedCircles.klwp”
  4. Select it and select save, then go back – Set Wallpaper

Step 7: Lockscreen setup

  1. Make sure Lock Screen Widgets has been set up in Xposed
  2. Open it – Hide all the default settings (clock, date, etc) and set Container ‘y’ translation to +-400 then hit Apply
  3. Select the [+] icon at the bottom to add a widget – KWGT 4×4
  4. Adjust width and height according to your phone
  5. Select “Make the widget clickable” then hit the tick button to save
  6. Tap the preview widget to open the Kustom Widget – Load Widget – Open – “ShadedCircles_LockClock.kwgt” – Save
  7. Deselect “Make the widget clickable” once happy
